Where are you located?Flow Bookeeping Solutions is located in Broomfield, CO - halfway between Denver and Boulder. The benefit of offering virtual bookkeeping services is that I can serve clients anywhere in the U.S. I use Zoom and Google Meet for most of my consultations and meetings but for local clients, I am always happy to meet up for coffee or visit your business.

Can you file my taxes?I do not file annual tax returns or offer any CPA services, but I do have an amazing CPA I can refer you to! I also provide tax filing support by working directly with your tax preparer in case they have any questions or need anything modified with your books.

How much will it cost?Since every business is different and thus will have different needs, monthly prices are customized and structured to fit the individualized needs of your business. Pricing reflects a fixed monthly fee you can rely on rather than an hourly rate that fluctuates from month-to-month. However, minimum monthly fees start at $350 for basic Monthly Bookkeeping Services with adjustments based on the services required, transaction volume, number of bank accounts, and other factors. Cleaning up several months to several years worth of bookkeeping is an investment and payment plans can be offered as needed.

How does virtual bookkeeping work?Virtual bookkeeping is much the same as traditional bookkeeping. Flow Bookkeeping Solutions exclusively uses QuickBooks Online: a secure, cloud-based accounting software. The benefit of online accounting services is being able to access all of your financials in one convenient virtual location. As the business owner, you will have your own login to QuickBooks Online and be able to access your bookkeeping from anywhere, at any time, and from any device that has an internet connection. Documents are shared via Google Drive and meetings and consultations are conducted using Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams, depending on your preference.

Do I have to sign a contract? How long am I locked in for?No contract required. Services are provided on a month-to-month basis with 14 days notice required to disengage.

I would like to move forward. What are the next steps?Contact me to schedule a free consultation. We will discuss your business, identify your pain points and bookkeeping needs. I will draft a proposal with customized solutions based on your budget to best serve your bookkeeping needs. After you decide what works best for you, you will sign an engagement letter to begin services. From there I will either set up a new Quickbooks Online file or you will add me as an Accountant User to your existing Quickbooks file. After reviewing your QBO file, you will receive a list of everything needed to get started (bank statements, receipts, tax documents, etc.) Once all of the previous steps are complete, work will begin to get your bookkeeping in shape.

What accounting software do you use?I work exclusively with Quickbooks Online. If you currently use Quickbooks Desktop and are open to switching, I can transfer your data from Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online.
